Working draft for review. This is a starting version, not legal advice. Items marked [to confirm] need completing, and the whole policy should be reviewed by a qualified professional before it is relied upon.

Who we are

Information we collect

We only collect what you choose to share with us:

Enquiry form: your name, email address, the type of trip you're interested in, and your message.
Direct contact: if you email, message us on WhatsApp, or reach out on Instagram, we receive the information and contact details you send.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

How we use it

We use your information only to reply to your enquiry, plan and discuss a possible trip with you, and keep a record of our correspondence. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

Who processes your information

To run the website and respond to you, your information passes through a few service providers, each under its own privacy policy:

Form delivery: enquiries sent through the form are delivered to our email by Formsubmit, a third-party form service.
Email: our inbox is hosted on Gmail (Google).
Messaging: if you contact us via WhatsApp or Instagram, those platforms (Meta) process the messages.
Hosting: the website is hosted on Vercel.
Fonts: the site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address to deliver them.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and correspondence for as long as needed to respond and plan your trip, and a reasonable period afterwards for our records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you — just email afghanistanwanderer@gmail.com. [to confirm] Depending on where you and the business are based, you may have further rights under local data-protection law (for example the EU/EEA GDPR).

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows the current version.
